| Have the Wheels Fallen Off? In spite of the fact that we were able to survive the Tennessee Alabama game, the Vols looked horrible for most of Saturday's regular 60 minutes. There was no offense, the defense only showed up at the goal line and special teams were just not particularly special. If the Crimson Tide had not been so far down, we would not have had a chance. Yeah, it's great that we beat Florida but they were really awful at the start of the season. Most people were expecting Zook to have a hard time coming up with a winning record this season but he's seeming to head in the right direction. On the other hand, Fulmer and staff have shown me nothing that says they're making any changes. We looked as dead as we did against Georgia, Bama was just not near as good a team as the Bulldogs. Maybe Phil has decided that we can slide thru the season and regroup for next year. As long as we don't get any worse, we should be able to finish with only 1 more loss. But I'm not looking forward to getting humiliated on national TV in the UT Miami game. Any chance the Vols turn the corner and play with some heart from here out? |

| Botton line is until the running game shows up we will not win in the big games. We might be able to get away with it against Duke but i garentee that we won't be able to do it against miami if we don't have a running game. |
