How EMBARRASING. Someones head should fly. Our defence stinks to high heaven. I NEVER thought I'd say this but Chavis may need to go. Our receivers looked like little sissys and our defence was just not there. Something has got to change. We looked like a high school team. Oh yea we will come back and beat Ken. and Vandy but who cares we stink. I hope we don't go to a bowl game this year cause if we play a decent team we will get killed. We need to get through this year and hopefully get some recruits that can play. The bad part is I don't see us getting better for at least 2-3 years.

We looked bad but I'm not ready to go that far yet.

As opposed to Cal when we played them, Arkansas is a legitimate top 5 or top 10 team.
We played an inexperienced redshirt freshman at QB instead of our Davey O'Brian nominee.
Our best DL has been out for most of the season.
One of our best DB's is also out for the season.
Arkansas has one of the best RB's & OL's in the nation.

I don't think our defense played that much worse than they have in the past few games. The difference in this game was turnovers and our lack of offense.

In the past, the Vols have given up points & yards but they've created some really opportune turnovers. This time they only got 1 fumble away from the Hogs. Add that to our offensive trouble and the Vols should lose to a better team.

It sucks to lose but Arkansas was the better team this week.

We should win out to be 9-3 with a decent bowl game. A huge improvement over last year.

And I do think we'll be better next year. The opener at Cal should be huge.

Ark. is the best team we have played by far this year. I want to go to the SEC Championship game and watch them clobber Florida. But our defence is really bad. I really think it git to us being unprepaired for Mc Fadden. That has to be blamed on the coaches. We never had a chance to stop him. We were in the wrong defence all night long.

McFadden is the best back I have seen in a very long time. He's not a better runner than Reggie Bush, but the fact that he can pass gives him an added dimension that Bush has never shown us. Arkansas is a very, very solid football team. I can't see them losing to Mississippi State, no matter where the game is played, and I definitely would favor them over LSU in a game played anywhere in the state of Arkansas.
