Happy to help a team that took a woodshed style whipping at the hands of the Volunteers. Just remember how bad your team got spanked in Knoxville. Y'all come back now, y'hear.

wrt the defense, all this season, the D has had the habit of giving up a lot but taking alot. They seem to almost let it slip away and then come up with turnovers at the most opportune time. Even in the Georgia game, the D gave up alot but the O just poured it on like never before. We just needed 1 more stop last night & we would have had the win.

But it didn't happen.

This is all in fun. I had to "bust your chops" a bit after that beating my Bears took against the Vols. I would like to know what you think UT needs to do to play Florida in the SEC championship game, if you think that they even have a chance?

Not a problem, fans should be able to take a little ribbing about their team.

UT's mathematically eliminated from the SEC championship game. We can't get in. We're in the eastern division with Florida. Winner of the East plays the winner of the west. We've got 2 SEC losses & Florida has 1. The worst Florida can finish is with 2 SEC losses and they would still win the East becasue (if we both have 2 losses) the tiebreaker is that they beat us head to head.

So all we play for now is a better record & a better bowl game.

The best finish we can get is 10-2 if we win out. That might be enough to get a BCS bowl but probably not. Not the best outcome but 10-2 or 9-3 is a hell of a lot better than most "experts" expected from Fulmer & the gang for the 2006 football season.

Sorry, Ross. I didn't know what part of the conference UT was in. If the Vols can run the table the rest of the season, they might have a chance at a BCS Bowl. It all depends on them voters. I looked up on how the BCS ranking s were determined, and it looks very complicated. I do know that the AP poll, USAToday poll, and a combination of four other polls, including the Harris poll, make up the ranking. I'm glad the computers do that math, it would give me a headache.

I was out of town but got to catch the game. Boy the Defence just quit on the last drive they looked like they just ran out of gas. But I think we will be ok. I feel like we had a good year even if we loose out. I really don't know if we can beat Ark. If we do we will have had a really good year. But even if we don't we can still hold our heads up high it has been a good year.
