We need Defense and Offense if the Vols are gonna win this football game.

Seriously, if the defense had shown up in the first half last weekend, the Vols would have had a fighting chance. Those 1st 2 series by the Tigers just set the tone & dug too great a hole for the Vols. It's a different game if the Volunteer D holds them to 3 points or less on either of their first drives.

Tonight's game gives them the opportunity to make amends. Unlike the last umpteen years when an early loss to the Gators was the real world end of the season, the Auburn loss doens't make a difference (in the East) if we get a W tonight.

On the other side of the line, our University of Tennessee Volunteers have had success running and our Vols have had success passing. Just not both when we really needed them. The O line did the job for the last 10 minutes with pass protection last week. How about we try to not wait that long against the Dawgs, ok?

I totally agree that the total tennessee team did not show up at this game. It was a poorly played game and i am beginning to be ashamed to be a tennessee football fan after the last few weeks.
