Red Zone Efficiency

Wow, was surprised to notice that the Vols red zone efficiency was so high. They lead the SEC in red zone efficiency this year by scoring 21 our of 23 times once they get inside the 20.

That's pretty awesome!

Oh, and they also lead the SEC in total offense, pass offense and pass efficiency. Not bad for a team that went 5-6 last year.

Anybody got info on red zone efficiency for last year or previous years?

How much of that efficency is due to Ainge? Is the QB the main reason for such a high efficiency?

Re: Red Zone Efficiency

Naw, everything comes back to Cutcliffe. He's the catalyst. He's the reason why Ainge and the rest of the offense is playing so much better. That's what I think anyway. Guess I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

What is even more amazing is they do it without a running game.

Re: Red Zone Efficiency

Well, I think we kinda sucked in the red zone against Bama. Anybody got the red zone stats for that game & new stats for the season?
