UT Offensive Line!

The defense down in the swamp was awesome but the offensive line could have used a little help during points in the game. I have never like clausen that much until this year. I feel that if he would have had more time to throw the ball that it would not have been a contest it would have been a beating. Don't get me wrong it was a beating but it could have been much worse than it was. I think if the defense plays that way all year and the offensive line gives clause more time then we are gonna be looking at national champions once again in Tennessee. That would kick so much butt!!!!

Indeed

I'm not a huge Clausen fan myself, but if he had been given more time, the game wouldn't have even been as close as it was.

Good call.

But he still makes bonehead plays. What about that duck of an interception he threw into triple coverage? I mean, c'mon! Where was Casey's head on that?

And Fulmer won't put in Big Brother Leake because he can't make good decsions???

Agreed!!

Yes clausen does make bonehead mistakes but what quarterback doesn't. The bottom line is that pass would probablly never have been thrown had he not been pressured and hurried to make a throw like that.

I think Leake really could've been something, but Chris didn't show me much. Sure, he hit his short out-routes and such, but he wasn't really doing anything to help his team. And I didn't see any of his speed displayed, either.

Plus, I think he chose the wrong reason to NOT come to UT. Just because we wouldn't play his brother? He needs to think of what's best for the team. The coaches made their choice, that's not up to him. He's there to do what they say and play football.

W In The Swamp

What Tennessee fan didn't look at the 24-10 score on Saturday and feel proud to wear the orange and white. For the second time in a row the visiting Vols came away with a win at the Swamp. Although this game didn't have national championship implications like the TN/FL games of past, it still held the same intensity and was a great game. I think Casey Clausen is one of the worst QBs in the game today and definitely the most over rated, but if his team can win the national championship all his past mistakes will be forgiven.

It's important to understand that Leake was playing in a very reserved role for UF. He was making the plays that were scripted for him.

Also, I don't blame him for taking a stand for what he thinks.
