Coach Fulmer said that DB Marsalous Johnson's suspension is over and that he will play against Memphis. Marsalous Johnson is freshman.

"Marsalous has been returned to playing status after fulfilling his four-game suspension," Fulmer said. "While the suspension has been hard on our team, we needed to make a point to Marsalous and the rest of the team that we expect them to conduct themselves at a high standard and be good representatives of our great university."

Do you think this is right, to reinstate him while his court case is still pending?

From what I read, Johnson is caught in a pretty big lie. The car was pulled over because an off duty officer said Johnson waved a gun at him while driving on the highway. Johnson first said there was no gun in the car, then they found the gun, and he said he forgot it was there.

Seems like a few holes in that story. Is Fulmer sending the right message here? I know innocent until proven guilty, but does he suspend him again if he is found guilty?
