Sounds like Inky Johnson may never play football again.

He's still in UT Medical Center. He has severe nerve damage and artery damage. He has already had one surgery to repair torn blood vessels in his right shoulder. Next, they'll do another surgery to fix nerve damage in his right shoulder and arm. Ever since the hit in Saturday's Air Force game ay Neyland, Inky has had trouble moving his upper right arm/shoulder.

wrt the team, Inky's injury means the secondary gets shuffled around. Jonathan Hefney will move from free safety to cornerback and Demetrice Morley will start at safety. Hefney started a bunch of games at cornerback when he was a freshman and did really well so hopefully he doesn't get picked on by FL all day.

Wow, that's rough for him (hope he's able to make a full recovery) and for the team. Not good for the secondary to be banged-up and have people playing out of position against an offense like Florida's. Are these guys good enough athletes to shut down the Gator passing attack?

Ouch. I hope Johnson can make a recovery to the point he can live a satisfying life.

Tough break for the Vols but they should have enough quality guys to make up for the loss.
