Voltek Could End Up In Cleveland

• There's speculation the Browns might consider trading for Titans quarterback Billy Volek, who became expendable when Kerry Collins signed this week. Crennel has not ruled out acquiring a veteran.

Struggling Bears offense looks sharp in Cleveland

ill be glad when the season starts and this drama stops

Re: Voltek Could End Up In Cleveland

Unreal... guys, how did Volek's stock fall so much so quickly? Just a few months ago, he was the heir apparent to Steve McNair, and was a stone-cold lock to start. Now, Collins is on board and Volek wants traded because he's essentially afraid of falling to third string? Someone please explain this to be because I don't get it. I know Volek hasn't exactly looked sharp during the preseason, but there has to be more to it than that, right?

Agreed. They should just stick with Frye.

Cleveland needs a talented veteran backup. It's Frye, Anderson and Dorsey. Volek would be a good addition as long as he didn't insist on starting. Of course, given the hissy fit he's throwing in Tennessee, I guess that's a big 'if' isn't it?

Well, sure, that would've been nice. But I guess that ship has kind of sailed already, hasn't it?
