| Titans Looking to Redo Some Contracts General Manager Floyd Reese said while the salary cap is constantly an issue for the Titans, it's not going to dictate roster moves as the team trims its roster to 53 on Saturday. "It's just part of the influence this year instead of the (biggest) influence," he said. The Titans remain in good cap shape even after adding quarterback Kerry Collins with a $2 million contract, and Reese said the team's wiggle room and contingency funds will be healthy. During the course of the season, Reese said he hopes to take advantage of the extra room and spread some of it to 2007. "We'll turn around and start looking at guys to redo or extend," he said. "I'm sure they are here. We're not sure exactly who they all are."
