Re: Tennessee Titans 2009 Draft Class So there you have this years class... What are peoples likes or dislikes about the players taken? Do you think losing a second round pick last year to take a tight end was good? Could Javon Ringer become this years Steve Slaton if he sees some time on the field? But most importantly, who will become a real Titans player? I mean the common feeling is that we have a capable starting 22 (on offense and defense) so we are looking more for back ups now which is probably reflected in our picks after the second round...so could any of these players make a legitimate case for time on the field?

Re: Tennessee Titans 2009 Draft Class other than britt and marks, the players that stand out to me are cook, mouton, kropog, and ringer. i think they all have a shot to contribute sooner than later.

Re: Tennessee Titans 2009 Draft Class We will have to see how they pan out on who makes it or how is a bust. I didn't like the Britt pick at first and I went and watched a couple of his highlight films and one thing that should out was he seemed to get behind some CBs. Not sure the CBs sucked or Rutgers isn't really a throwing team so they didn't focus on him. But the key thing I did see was he caught difficult balls that were perfectly thrown to him or he caught it and got hit and popped right back up with the ball. He doesn't seem to fear away from contract, until Roby, Jones, and Williams that were afraid to get hit. So maybe this is a good pick. But the pick I liked was Ringer. I was surprised he fell that far down, because I think he has the tallent to make it in the NFL. He isn't flashy like Chirs Johnson and he isn't as big as White, but I think he is right between. He had a ton of carries at Michigan State and I think that is because he is that good.
