Our trouble child Pacman Jones was arrested at a Merfreesboro bar after Thursday nite and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Here's Pacman's mugshot & the police writeup from his last run in:

Tennessee Titans defensive back Adam “Pac Man” Jones surrendered to North Precinct officers at 9:30 a.m. today and has been booked on arrest warrants issued during the night charging him with two counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of felony vandalism.

Jones, 21, met officers and was arrested at the Titans complex in Metrocenter. He was cooperative throughout the process.

The arrest warrants were obtained at 2:10 a.m. today by private citizens Robert Charles Gaddy, 34, and Lamar D. Woodson, 25, both of Willow Trace Court in Whites Creek.

Gaddy, the manager of the 615 Club at 201 Woodland Street, called at 12:10 a.m. to report that Jones assaulted him inside the club.

Gaddy reported that he saw three persons smoking marijuana inside the bar (Jones was not one of them) and told them to leave. Gaddy said as the three were walking out, they told Jones, who was apparently part of their party, what had happened. Gaddy said Jones became belligerent, cursed him, grabbed him by the shirt, tearing it, and broke a necklace worth $4,000. Gaddy said Jones was pulled away by his friends but then lunged at him and struck him in the chest.

Woodson said Jones and his friends passed by him as they were leaving the property. He reported that Jones made a derogatory remark toward him and struck him in the face.

When officers arrived, Jones and the persons with him had left. Both Gaddy and Woodson told officers they wanted to prosecute Jones and were assisted.

Jones was released from the Metro Jail after posting a $7,000 bond.

Jones shouted out Mike that it's a case of racial profiling. We had to beep out the profanities (and there were many)...

While Jones is being profiled in the media as a guy that's matured and grown up a bit from his first season, he still doesn't get it.

He does many good things that don't get a bunch of media play (mainly because he doesn't ask or want it) but then acts crazy and foolish when he feels he's been violated.

But apparently not too old to act like a child. Only a single day after the Titans break training camp, he goes to some club in Murfreesboro and gets hammered, and then starts yelling at some woman, accusing her of stealing his wallet. The cops showed up and arrested him for disorderly conduct.

Why didn't anyone tell me that training camp was such a huge party? I was always under the impression that it was a ton of work and designed to weed out the weak.

SportsRadio 1300 WLXG makes a good point about Pacman:

Here's the kicker... Police asked him to leave several times and he just stood there cussing. If I'm drunk outside of a bar and the police come and ask me to leave, I don't care how drunk I am... I just say "Thank you very much officer, I'll be leaving now."

This kid is just a dissapointment so far for Tennessee. All the legal trouble he's had since being drafted isn't worth the hassle. He's not even a #1 corner from what I've seen of him.

yeah your probably right that he isnt a #1 corner back...YET...i mean we only drafted him last season. the problem is with some draft picks is that teams expect them to come in and be superstars from the day they arrive. granted i got a little ☻☻☻☻ed as well with all the contract delays and trouble he got into before he even signed for us, but on the field he has come into a very youthful team who are still in transition from the Vetrans of past years to the next generation, i think if we give him a season or 2 we will really see what Pacman has to offer, and if he still doesnt perform then we have learnt from our mistakes

Wasn't this kid Jones pretty much clean when he was at WVU? The only troublemaker for the Mountaineers I can remember in recent history was Chris Henry. Either Rich Rodriguez did a great job keeping Jones' nose clean, or the West Virginia coach did a great job keeping the stuff he did fairly hush-hush.

Anyone think this latest incident could cost Pacman his job?

Nope, Fisher released a statement that was pretty tame. Something like "sorry to see this, pacman's made great progress, wait to see how this shakes out, yada yada..."
