It would seem as though the Titans week 7 bye week will not come at a better time as they face some difficult match ups in the first half of the season.

The Titans kick off the NFL season, sporting their throw back jerseys, with the Hall Of Fame Game against the Steelers. They then have some tough games against the likes of the Pats and the Cards before a match up with old foes the Rams and unfortunatly a tough game at home to the Chargers...on Christmas day...below is the Titans full schedule for 2009 with home games in blue:

I voted Steelers. Playing the defending Super Bowl champs on week 1 when you haven't gotten a real good look at them yet. That's gotta be a challenge.

I picked the Steelers because that it is at the Steelers and you know ESPN is going to play the towel stomping every other hour and make the Steelers and and fans upset and want to come out swinging. And it will be the first real test without Albert and to see if Hayes, Ford, & Jones can bring the heat.

I think rotating them and keeping them fresh will help keep the DL as good with and without Albert. Remember Albert missed sometime last year and he doesn't play every single snap so you really didn't noticed when you did take a break on the sidelines last year. The year before you could tell but not last year.

But the good thing is Nate Washington will want to bring his best for that game too, so he he was better then being a #3 WR. Plus you always want to beat a team that you played for.

I agree about the whole "towel stomping thing" its already being broadcasted as the biggest major disaster in the history of the world...(sacrasm)...but it will be made in to a bigger thing than it was

What we really need to do is to exploite the loss of "our former number 92" as much as possible because right now people don't know what to expect without him, meaning that Kearse and KvB will be able to step up on the lines, the interior linemen will get less attention because of their lack of games and then blitzing corners and linebackers will be able to become a bigger part of rushing the QB
