Nate Washington A Titan?

The Titans may be looking for experience rather than youth when it comes to solving the teams wide receiver problems as Nate Washington could be a possible pick up for the Titans in free agency

So would Washington be a good player to have in the team or should we be going for some one in the draft? Maybe a deep threat with all the speedy receivers available in this years draft?

Nate Washington wouldn't cost much, but I don't know if he is much of a improvement of what we have. He could be a slight improvement but Nate has been a #3 WR and we have plenty of #3 WRs. We need a true #1 and maybe some better #2.

I would rather them spend a little more and go for Torry Holt &/or Marvin Marrison, both are getting up in years but they are both good character players and can help the younger guys and are better then what we have. If we could get 2 years from both/either one of those would be good. Also we could go for Drew Bennett too. I think everyone knows now that Drew is better then Justin McCareins

I would take almost any free agent wide reciever available over mccariens right now.

Nate Washington is now a titan! He signed a 6 yr 27mil dollar contract. Although he is no where near a dominate player, he adds speed and big play ability the wr core needs and will fill in nicely in mccariens spot.

Re: Nate Washington A Titan?

I like the pick up of Washington, he's a lot better I think than the other options that we had on the team. While not the best free agent out there he should be a solid addition. And being a #3 WR on Pittsburgh with the receivers they have on that team...well that's not a big concern for me. He obviously came to a team that he knew he might get some more touches (even though Tennessee is a run first offence) so yeah good pick up...maybe draft another WR for development as well.
