The Titans have unsurprisingly used this years franchise tag on fourth year tight end Bo Scaife

Scaife has seen mixed popularity since he was drafted in the 6th round in 2005.

Scaife, drafted out of Texas, spent some of his college career with current Titans QB Vince Young and due to this he saw a lot of the ball last year when Vince played most, becoming his former team mates favorite target.

This year he has shared time with veteran Alge Crumpler but the team has high hopes for Scaife and enjoy spreading the ball out to the tight ends, so could see more of the ball next year

For someone who had multiple knee surgeries in college, Scaife has held up pretty well in the nfl. I think the titans would be wise to sign him to a multi year deal in 2010.

i think that would be a good idea, at the moment the NFL has only got a select few tight ends that can block well and catch passes, Scaife is defiantly in that category and i've said it once but i'll say it again, i can see Bo and Vince becoming the new Vick and Crumpler

Hey I agree I thought that Scaife was a great fit with the titans I'd like to see him locked up for a few more years. And I could see him and Young being the new Vick and Crumpler as well...well...provided Young gets that opportunity at SOME point hopefully sooner than later
