I've been really looking forward to seeing the Titans and Saints play here in Nashville. While I didn't make it to LP Field, it was on TV so that worked out pretty well.

Not a bad 1st game in Nashville this year. Billy Volek looked pretty good handling the 1st team to start the game. Nice bomb to Drew Bennett that should have been a completion. TNTitans did a coach's challenge and it could have been called either way.

Titans running game looked sound.

Vince Young's 1st NFL game wasn't too bad. He came out early to big applause and promptly went 3 & out. But he didn't look bad. And he threw two good passes that were dropped.

Special teams for the Titans really looked good. Strong kicking game both punting and kickoff. No turnovers and we recovered a fair catch that the Saints muffed.

Anything stand out to you guys? What got you Titans fans fired up in this game? Tell me what you thought about #10's performance.

Good writeup of the Titans Saints game by Andrew Strickert of Most Valuable Network.

He's got a good rundown of how many of the individual players did. He calls out PacMan, Bobby Wade, Jared Clauss & Eugene Amano as some guys who looked good. Courtney Roby looked good but got stage fright & dropped what should have been Vince Young's 1st TD pass. Guess he didn't want to be on SportsCenter.

Yeah, Coach Fisher benched LenDale for the LenDale White Donnie Nickey Fights incident, which I initially misread. It definitely seems like White was the screw up in that. He was in street clothes on the sidelines. Hopefully he'll learn a lesson and we'll get to see him this weekend.

get mascots off the field, put them in the stands let them play with the little kiddies, but do they really have to be on the field
