Just hearing about two fights between DB Donnie Nickey and our highly touted running back LenDale White.

Both were on the field incidents but 2 makes it sound like more than your typical practice skirmishes. The way that the story was reported, it sounds like Donnie Nickey was really the instigator in both fights.

So is it a rookie trying to make a name for himself or is Nicely picking on him for some reason?

Well, if White really did spit in his face, I can see why Nickey would want to pop him one. Memo to the rook - you earn respect through your play, you earn distain by trying to show up, spit on or otherwise embarrass your veteran teammates.

Since it was White that spit in Nickey's face, I'd say he was the instigator. Noob has it right. Rookies are meant to be seen and not heard. And Nickey is no one to take any B.S. He was the same at Ohio State.

These types of things always seem to happen at this time in camp, but you have to respect your teammates.

The thing that bothers me is if it were the other way around, Nickey would be called a racist....
