The Tennessee Titans have lost one of the most underrated and influential members of the coaching staff as he looks to make a new start Detroit.

Schwartz, the Titans defensive coordinator for 10 seasons, has gone from strength to strength in recent years. In this most recent season he sent 3 defensive Titans to the Pro Bowl, had 2 players voted in to the All Pro team and had a top 5 ranking defense.

I'm not to happy about the move but im glad that Schwartz is getting the recognition he finally deserves and i wish him the best of luck of course.

But how will this effect the team? and who is a possible replacement? Im thinking Mike Shanahan

Mike Shanahan cant coach defense, did you see the broncos defense the last 3 years? and i think we will be fine on defense because as long as we have Fisher the titans defense will always be nasty.

I agree that the titans defence will still be as tough and physical as it always has been. Fisher just brings that mentality and since they are filling the position from within by the looks of things I see no reason to change the style of defence, although if Haynesworth isn't re-signed, (which I just read something about the two sides being nowhere close to being on the same page, albeit just a rumour for now) perhaps they will need to blitz a bit more than they used to in order to get pressure on the QB.
