Re: Titans vs Ravens

what is most disappointing when looking at the analysis of the game a day later is that most people are making out like the Ravens totally dominated us and they were a better team...which is a totally wrong

i believe both teams were well matched hence the reason for the low scoring, neither offense played exceptionally well despite how much people are claiming that Joe Flacco is the best thing since sliced bread and if people want to look at stats than with the exception of 3 turnovers (2 being our own fault) we were better than the Ravens

but once again this brings to light the fact that the Titans still have no respect in the NFL

Good read - I think both teams were equally matched... your D is GOOD... it totally shut down our run which is usually a big part of our game. So what the refs blew a call.... same thing happened in October in your favor, so we're even. Get over it. The Titans blew it in the red zone and our D won it for us. PS- we get no respect either.

I totally agree, you guys lost that game because with Chirs Johnson, Lendale White isn't that special, so you just tiook out your running game which is your biggest weapon. You could've easily one that game, Baltimore won, but it was far from dominate

Actually, from the way it looks, you guys should've been up by like three touchdowns, but kept shooting yourselves in the foot with mistakes and turnovers. Titans should've won that game, IMO.

Yeah i know that, i think you have misunderstood my comment...what i meant was that all the analysis so far has been that we were an awful team and the Ravens totally destroyed us, but that is not true because we made some fatal errors and that lost us the game

Re: Titans vs Ravens

Titans lost the game because they committed too many penalties. Wouldnt have made any diff if Johnson was in or not the way they played. (and is he something special or what? Wow!) Too many screwups, end of story.
Did the Ravens dominate the Titans? Heck no, they just committed a few less penalties.
There were a lot of penalties in all the games this weekend.
Titans lost their rhythm because of the bye week.

All of them????
Come on, I am an expert on a team self-destructing seeing as how I am a Cowboys fan and the Titans were self destructing. Too bad because the game could very well have had a different ending.

Yep, too many penalties.

At one point it was 11-1 in ""favor" of the Tiitans for penalties.

They picked a heck of a time to play their worst game of the year.

I think they should have won the game easily. But they didn't.

And with the turnovers and undisciplined play, they don't deserve respect.

And I"m ont happy, it's a team I like, but that is how it is. Maybe a bit of a choke with them?

oh really well i didnt see any penalties take the titans out of fg range or penalties that stoped any drives or any of those.if you watched the titans all year like i have than you would know the titans are an agressive team and they get false starts and off sides penalties and the titans over come them and you should have expected the personal foul penalties bcus these 2 teams dont like each other.and as a self destructing team goes the titans are know where near that the titans just missed cj after he got injured and the ravens lucked out by having the reffs on there team.
so congrats ravens the titans saw how overhyped your team is so they gave you the win.

the titans didnt play there worst game of the year they played just fine.the titans went up and down the field on offense but fumbled when we get into the redzone and our defense played 20x better than the ravens defense did,the ravense defense just got lucky and thats all it was the titans hade almost 200 more total yards than the ravens did on offense and the ravens were giving up first downs like crazy.

if anybody thinks the ravens destroyed the titans than they just dont know a damn thing about football.first of all the ravens got lucky many times in the game for example
1.cj gets injured
2.bironas missed a fg
3.white fumbled the ball on the 16
4.crumpler fumbled on the 6
5.the titans gave them 89 yards in penalties
6.the reffs didnt call delay of game

and the sad thing is that the ravens didnt really cause any of these, yes they forced the fumbles but come on the balls came out so easily there more of the titans fault than it is the ravens and they still just barely won.i mean seriously after all that and you still only win by a late fg,thats horrible.

If you think the turnover and Titans penalties are just due to them being lucky, you are just not being honest with yourself.

The Titans may have moved the ball up and down the field, but if unforced errors prevent you from scoring, than that is on your team.

Come on, you are starting to sound like a certain Alabama fan.

Next thing you know, you'll be saying the game was fixed.

Hey, I wanted the Titans to win too, but they just didn't play well enough to do it.

2.bironas missed a fg
3.white fumbled the ball on the 16
4.crumpler fumbled on the 6
5.the titans gave them 89 yards in penalties

Those four factors, that are from you, are enough to doom a team in the playoff, or just against any strong team at any time.

face it, the Titans did enough to doom themselves, and I don't hear them making any excuses about it.

Re: Titans vs Ravens

Ok, the penalties hurt the Titans, but no CJ was the difference Bette, Lendale White can't fumble if Chris Johnson has the ball, Kerry Collins doesn't have the ball in his hands as much if Lendale White isn't such a non-factor without CJ, there for he can't make mistakes. So I think CJ was the difference

o.k. you got me on the lucky part but my point was that people are giving the ravens to much credit for our mistakes
