| Jeff Fisher Whoever was calling the plays in the 4th quarter is an idiot. We have a league mvp at quarterback and some of the best wide receivers we have had in years, not to mention a great pass blocking offensive line. We haven't been able to run the ball all season for the most part, so why in a critical game are we going to change the game plan and keep it on the ground. In what turned out to be the last game of the season for us against, what I think is the best defense in the league against the run, we decide to run the ball with a tied score like we are winning and trying to run out the clock. As a matter of fact, I have watched Jeff Fisher time and time again change philosophies in the middle of the game because we are winning and go with the run 100%. What is so wrong with being a passing team? Seems to be working for the Patriots. Why can't we win big? I can understand the games where we have a 20 point margin, but what I don't get is that in most of the games we lost this season we had a chance to win, but we quit passing somewhere in the second half for some reason. If we are going to win a super bowl we are going to have to go into a game with our ears pinned back and play to win for the entire game. This year we had a great passing offense and we didn't even use them in the most important game til it was too late. I am very disappointed. |
