Titans @ Lions 11/27/08

Titans will leave their warm home in Tennessee and go to Detroit to play the Lions on Thanksgiving Day at 12:30 pm ET.
The Titans had their perfect record ruined last week by the Jets. Lions still have their perfect record intact--0-11.
Titans will be pretty mad about losing last week to the Jets and could very well take it out on the hapless and winless Lions.
Lions are frequently surprising on Thanksgiving Day. If the Titans Defense still has key players out with injury, Daunte Culpepper may be able to pick apart the Titans Defense.
Unfortunately the Lions Defense leaves holes big enough for a truck to run through and Titans RBs will have a field day.
What are your thoughts on this game?

I cant see how the Titans would lose in this game, i mean the Lions really are such a poor team! their defense is useless, their offense is just as bad and they have so many injuries i think some of the Admin should be suiting up...im not going to predict a score but we MAY see the first shut out this season by the Titans

It would be pretty darn embarrassing if they did.
No shutout. Especially if some of your key players are still out. Its why Brett had so much success.

Just to alleviate all confusion, when i said "shut out" i actually meant the Titans shutting out the Lions...i would never say the other way around

No confusion, thats what I meant. Werent a couple of your key defensive guys out in the game against the Jets?

Game was pathetic. Win is nice for the Titans but just another ugly loss for the Lions.

There's some good news though, the Lions will have a top pick, and last tiem I checked there aren't any recievers who should go in the top five, so they might acutally get help

Cornerbacks Eric King and Reynaldo Hill were placed on injured reserve, ending their seasons.
King, a backup, broke his left forearm in last week's win at Jacksonville and had surgery on Tuesday. He wasn't going to be able to return until January at the earliest. Hill has a hip injury."
