Titans @ Bears

Titans host the Bears Sunday, Nov. 9 at 1:00 pm ET.
Tennessee has been having an awesome season this year with a perfect 8-0 record. They have been winning mostly defensively but have a great run game.
Thing is though, the Titans just barely beat the Packers last week in OT, winning 19-16 at home.
This week they face the top of the NFC North, the Chicago Bears who have been surprisingly good and have a good defense themselves.
Any chance the Bears will break the Titans' perfect record?

Re: Titans @ Bears

possible problem, don't the Bears have the #1 scoring offense? Don't know if it changed from last week, but this might be the one for the Titans.

well the titans only allow 12 points a game and thats 1st in the nfl so for the bears sake they better be number one in scoring offense and we'll see how rex grossman can play sunday

Actually our defense, the identity of the Bears, has sucked lately. Fortunately, in the land of opposite of what it should be, we have an offense now.

I dont think it was #1 but either way orton is injured and rex the grossmn is playing and against the best defense. titans will have a field day with them, they win by atleast 2 td's..

final score Titans win 31-14 and go 9-0

Re: Titans @ Bears

Not all of Chicago was angry with him. I herd an interesting factoid today. The combined win/loss record of the Titan's 8 opponents this year is 25 and 40.

Didn't the titans almost lose to the Packers, they were lucky when Packers couldn't score a touchdown within the final 2 minutes, instead they went for a 3 pointer to tie the game.

Its either you look at it like Titans are good this season.
or Titans got Lucky.
  1. Jaguars 3-5 Not looking good
  2. Bengals 1-8 Stinks
  3. Texans 3-5 Not looking good
  4. Vikings 4-4 Going no where
  5. Ravens 5-3 Ok
  6. Chiefs 1-7 OMG just like the Bengals
  7. Colts 4-4 A worthy contender
  8. Packers 4-4 Same as above
  9. Bears 5-3 We shall see this sunday
  10. Jaguars 3-5
  11. Jets 5-3
  12. Lions 0-8 This one is a Gi-me
  13. Browns 3-6
  14. Texans 3-5
  15. Steelers 6-2
  16. Colts 4-4

Only a few serious Contender.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying the Titans are a push over team. I think the Titans are one of the best this year. It's just that a lot has been made about them being 8 and 0.

Titans are very good this year. And no one else is 8 and 0 so that says something about them.

But--they are definitely not the '07 Pats.
