They had better cut him.

So I'm sitting here watching the game and I just watched Berlin fumble his second kick, and Indianapolis scored on the ensuing drive. If they don't cut this clown TOMMORROW, then he needs to be benced for the rest of the year.

3 fumbles & we should have had a chance to win with 50 seconds left in the game.

And then 1 more fumble...

What a let down. C'mon Titans. You played well enough to overcome the turnovers but that last one was inexcusuable.

Berlin should not be cut

It would be unfair to cut or bench a player after two fumbles. Berlin probably feels worse than anyone about his mistakes. These fumbles are correctable with work on his ball carrying technique. Berlin does not have a history of fumbles so there should not be a problem unless this continues. The Tennesse Titans are a class organization and I am sure they would never cut a player after one bad game.

Don't cut Berlin...

When Berlin lost that second fumble, I was crushed. But our last post-er has it right. Berlin only has two fumbles in his three-year career. Yes, they both came in a crucial game, but you can't cut a player because he has one dreadful game. In 2001 and 2002, Berlin returned 13 kicks each year and averaged 19.5 and 20 yards returning, respectivley (without ever fumbling the ball). Those aren't stellar numbers, but as my grandfather would have said, "..they sure as [heck] ain't bad." Let's not kick the man while he's down...let's just expect more, and hopefully get more, out of him next game.
