1st round: No WRs taken and the Titans draft a RB

Can anyone explain to me why? Limas Sweed, Devin Thomas, DeSean Jackson was available. The same thing happened when Randy Moss was passed up by the Titans, and he's the #1 best NFL receiver to date. I'm personally tired of this smash mouth bull****, and why make the defense work so hard? I'd vote to axe Fisher for that. All the fans wanted a wide receiver, and the Titans draft a guy who has an injury each year in college. Good Game.

wish i had an answer Phirewolf because i have no idea either especially with all those guys still left on the board...maybe we are hoping to pick someone else up later? maybe the recent first round receivers have been so bad we wanted to wait for a later pick? maybe we have all the receivers we need in terms of height and we needed some speed on the field...honestly im still trying to get my head around it

I've read that they'll use Chris Johnson as a wide receiver. Ok, that doesn't sound bad, but wouldn't it been wiser to draft a true wide receiver??

Yeah, I can see johnson getting all kinds of dump passes from VY, and then taking them 80 yards. Johnson and the coaches agree he is like a faster westbrook. Id say someone like westbrook only faster would be pretty valuable.
