The Titans have reportedly agreed in principle to send suspended CB Pacman Jones to the Cowboys in exchange for a 2008 fourth-round draft choice.
Tennessee had been holding out for two picks, but agreed to settle when Dallas upped its offer from a sixth-rounder. The Titans will also get a 2009 pick if Jones plays in 2008. Pacman seems unlikely to be reinstated for this season, but the Cowboys are willing to take that risk. It's believed that team already has a new contract for Jones in place.

I'm a Dallas Fan, and I'm PISSED that he is on my team. This franchise is still living down the jerk image they had in the 90's, and now on top of TO's antics, and Tank Johnson's gun habits, we now have this criminal.

I wouldn't give a warm beer for his services, and I just may root against them next year.

The Titans made the right move, get rid of the headaches he causes, and get another fourth round pick.

Now there is the Cowboys side of things, they need a corner and a return man so on the field this a good move, but how many headaches can one team take, Tank, Pacman, and T.O. it's a recipe for disaster in Dallas.

This is a make or break move for Jerry Jones, for the Cowboys sake I hope it doesn't break.

well we knew he overstayed his welcome in tennessee so there wasnt a chance of keeping him, atleast we got a 4th round pick for him, yes hes a good player, but the cowboys are banking on him to quit going to strip clubs, not gonna happen..

Didn't they win 3 superbowls in the 90s? If he can help deliver another, I think Jones will find a place to store his baggage.

Jones is an absolute genius. A fourth-rounder for a guy with good cover skills and playmaker ability in the return game, and if his off-field conduct costs him the season, the Cowboys get their pick back in 2009. That was a smart, smart trade... and on the other hand, I bet the Titans are glad to be rid of him and all the headaches he brought to the table.

Yep, they won those three in the 90's, and also embarassed themselves with everything from DUI's, to drug suspsensions, to Irvan getting busted with Coke and Hookers.

I was really hoping they would win without getting a bunch of scumbags this time, but I guess asking a team to find good players that aren't trouble is an impossible task.

Yes, I'm a Cowboys fan, but I don't believe in "win at all costs".

You have to have some standards, and just having ability, with no morals or regard for the law, doesn't fit my defintion.

I would take a flyer on a guy who is 1st round material for a 4th pick...even a headcase...look at Randy Moss...happy as a Patriot now...that could be Jones this year.

I found this last night, thought, "WOW! big news " only to find out that I was 5 minutes behind vince.
phils, so far none of these guys are causing problems. Just because they did in the past, cant judge them for it now. If they start messing up I will be right with you.
About Pacman, I have strong reservations. But we can be sure the Cowboys have a pretty stringent contract wrote up for him. I believe he will stay straight for a year, maybe two. If he works out, yeah, then the Titans got a bad deal. But he wasnt going to stay straight in Tennessee. Just wasnt going to happen.

Well if Jones was so vehemently against playing for the Titans it would be a huge team disruption to keep him. Like 10 times the distraction Chad Johnson is for the Bengals. Hope for the Titans they use that fourth rounder wisely and I hope for the Cowboys sake Jones gets reinstated.

Yep!...Funny how that worked out...I can't see how they can lose.
