Does Eddie need a fullback or is he done? This is kind of the same as my question about is eddie done. But just want to see what everyone else thinks about eddie needing a fullback. Or if i'm the only one that sees it.

If tough to call. Over the years we've gone from a 2-TE-set, to a traditional pro style I formation, to a 3 wide-out and everything in between. This year they have focused and dominated w/the 3 wideout, and McNairs numbers and MVP type year has proven it. Honestly, w/the way George has been running.. I don't know how much a FB would help, and the results from McNair and "Dinger" that we've been getting is hard to get away from. Remember... the running game we hung our hat on for so long survived because of our defense... we could get away with only scoreing 7,10,14.. ect points. Now our secondary is poor, we play more of a cover 2, press cover instead of our traditional 46 everyone blitz all the time regardless of what down it is type defense. We score 30+ points a game, put the other team in a hole, force them into a passing package, pin our ears back and blitz because we don't have to play the run. We need to be more balanced, but George needs to be more productive.. and if George can't make plays against a team that is in a pass defense, w/4 man in the box... I'm not sure a FB would help.

I agree, losing Neil was not a popular move... That being said, I disagree w/George being at his best with a fullback. We signed Comella, and George did nothing with that opportunity. In our 2-TE-Set, you see a lot of times one of the TE's drop in formation and line-up in the H spot or FB spot and George still does nothing. I would love for George to regain his star status, gain serious yards, carrie the ball 25-30 times.. ect. but he's not showing he can. I agree he hasn't lost anything physically. He still has the speed for his size and the strength.. but the one thing that really stands out is his lack of vision ( which he was famous for ) and his ability to set up his blocks. I absolutely do not want to see a running-back by commity.. I want an every down back, and if George can reastablish him self at that level... I'm all for it. If not we draft and every down back for the near future. And just for the record... Chris Brown is not the answer.

Eddie George. Time to go. The Titans are not using money wisely if Eddie comes back for another year & it would be insane for the Titans to spend a penny on him. We have pleanty of other needs & rookies to sign. Dont get me wrong, I love the guy but he is finished, age catches up to everyone. The Titans are going to end up giving Chris Brown the majority of carries by years end so, why prolong the inevitable & waste the money. The Titans are a better team with Chris Brown, he has the potential to be a legit pro-bowler. As far as injury concerns, many rookies have hammy injuries, it comes from lack of NFL conditioning, he should be good to go. Eddie thanks for the memories, see you in Canton.
