The Freak Is Back!!!

it has just been announced that former Titans defensive end Jevon Kearse has re-joined the team on a 2 year, $6million deal

so whats everyones opinion on having The Freak and the Energizer Bunny on the ends and Big Al in the middle??

i for one am glad to see him back and i've also heard rumors we might be getting another ex Titan, Justin McCairens back as well, talk about bringing back the old school

Kearse makes return to Titans with two-year deal

Does Kearse have anything left? I mean, they past couple years, he's been dinged up and fairly average.

Nothing at all left in the tank I've seen just about every play he made for the Eagles, and it wouldn't contain enough highlights to fill a movie trailer, much less a season.

He was a highly paid cheerleader here. I loved him with the Titans, but he was useless in Philly.

Just the facts!

Re: The Freak Is Back!!!

i think he still has some let in him, i mean for one he is playing with a totally different unit now so some of the heat might be taken off him now and secondly he was dogged by injury in Philly...so maybe a new coordinator and a new set of lineman might give him a good season or 2

Re: The Freak Is Back!!!

Kearse will play a lot better in the titans system. Im really excited about this pickup. Hopefully the injuries are behind him.

Well, like I said, I loved him in Tenn, but here he was useless, and hurt all the time.

It's not like I don't like him. Hell, the Titans are my AFC team!!!

I'm just telling you, as someone who has watched him be a shadow of himself, that the guy can't play.

I truly wish it was not so, but it is.

Re: The Freak Is Back!!!

Hanesworth, Tony Brown, Bulluck, KVB will make the Freak Shine again.

plus We might pick up Grady Johnson.

Our D line is going to be #1. ALL QB'S WILL HIT THE GROUND WHEN THEY PLAY US.

He is making a lot for how he has played the last few years... I am shocked he got as much as he did.

if he would have asked for more than what he got he would still be a free agent.but i do think with all the other star players on defense and a great o-line to practice against will be good for him and could help him become better.

He will steal money for 2 years and spend most of it on the DL. He is cooked.

I agree. If I remember, wasn't he hurt the season before he went to Philly. I seem to remember him tearing a muscle, but it may not have been him.

Agreed. But on the other hand, if for some reason he stays healthy and plays well, the Titans will have a heck of a bargain on their hands.
