Titans Sign Crumpler

The Tennessee Titans have signed former Falcons Tight End Alge Crumpler

Crumpler joins the Titans have spent a poor season with the Falcons, who couldn't quiet adjust to the loss of Micheal Vick.

With Bo Scaife having a career season and expecting to come into training camp as the teams starter, we could see one of the best Tight End tandems in the NFL, especially as it has become common knowledge now that Vince Young prefers to pass to his TE's more often than his WR's

so what does everyone think of having Alge on board now?

Titans agree to terms with former Falcons tight end Crumpler

Re: Titans Sign Crumpler

Crump should def boost vy's touchdown total this year. He's got soft hands and is a beast of a man that will cause all kinds of mismatch probems for defenders. As long as crump's knees are fine, I think the Titans got their guy.

great move for the titans. huge flop for the seahawks. how they didnt snag crumpler when his old coach jim mora is gonna take over is beyond me. they also signed tj duckett a former teammate of crumplers soon after. the seahawks definately dropped the ball on this free agent

Re: Titans Sign Crumpler

I like this signing a lot. The more targets for Vince Young the better and running QBs seem to favor their tight ends a lot so maybe this will give Young a great option because Crumpler for years was PETA's Man Of The Year Micheal Vick's favorite target.

I always thought that he was a 4 time pro bowler mostly because there wasnt much around him. He did a lot for his team because he was the only one that could do anything.
Thats why I said dependable.

I know i wish we could of got him. Our current TE's are Pollard and Heller. I think Pollard is decent and Heller is just terrible. Then the back up Joppru is nothing special. We needed this..

Re: Titans Sign Crumpler

Crumpler should play great while showing Bo Scaife the ropes before he leaves.
