| Titans give Gage Multi-Year Exstention ![]() NASHVILLE -– The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with wide receiver Justin Gage, who was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on February 29. Getty ImagesWide receiver Justin Gage led the Titans in receptions (55) and receiving yards (750) in 2007. "Justin is a player who made the most of an opportunity and we expect him to be a significant contributor to our offensive success," said Titans General Manager Mike Reinfeldt. "He can play outside or inside, has the ability to make tough catches and should continue to grow as a receiver as he and Vince play together more." In 2007, Gage’s fifth NFL season and first with the Titans, he led the team with 750 receiving yards and tied Roydell Williams for first on the club with 55 receptions. Both of those totals represented new career highs, and he added two touchdown receptions to tie his career-best mark (2003 and 2005). He played in all 16 games and totaled eight starts. Of Gage’s 55 receptions in 2007, 45 of them –- 81.8 percent –- resulted in first downs. That was the third-highest percentage in the NFL among qualifying players (minimum 32 receptions), behind only Terrell Owens (85.2 percent) and Brandon Stokley (85.0).
