SUPER BOWL?

I'd just like to see what some people think about this idea of the Titans going to the super bowl this year. Will they be able to do it against a very competitive league full of young talent? I think it is too early to tell but I would like to see what some other fans think about it.

I think that it is very possible for the titans to go to the super bowl. If Eddie runs like he did this past sunday against the saints and the defense plays like they did then the answer is yes. I don't doubt the ability of our recieving core and quarterback because they show up every sunday. The defense does also but if eddie and them show up every sunday then the titans are going to the super bowl.

I agree with golferttu that the Titans definately have the potential to go the Super Bowl. They are off to a pretty good start, despite the colts game, and I think they have the firepower, leadership, and wisdom to go all the way. If they stay consistent and healthy I believe they have a chance. They've done it in the past and I think they can do it again this year.

It's possible, but they will definately have to bring their A game on every Sunday.

Well so far still so good! The titans other then the first quarter dominated the steelers. Not so much on offense as on defense but dominated none the less. I think that the offense is gonna have to show us a little bit more than what they did this sunday. They need to have someone blocking for eddie george. The only time he gets yards like he used to is when he has a lead blocker. Everyother great running back had a lead blocker and prolly could not have been as great without them. Well as long as the defense keeps playing like this the offense can slump but when the defense doesn't play as well the offense is gonna have to step up and they better be ready.

The defense really stepped up to fill the void left by a lacking offensive threat today, especially second-year linebacker Rocky Boiman (filling in for injured Peter Sirmon). Boiman not only sacked Tommy Maddox for a safety, he also intercepted a Maddox pass and took it back 60 yards.

Kudos to the young man from Notre Dame.

Well bottom line is it was a bad weekend for Tennessee football period. Of course it is hard to win on the road but the titans just didn't show me much of anything today. They lacked everything and the patriots just took it to us. If the titans plan on going to the super bowl then they better step it up and win out. That is all i have to say.

The Titans showed me some steeled resolve...they didn't quit even after the interception and that's to be admired.

They may have not given up after the interception but the bottom line is that they didn't win. The titans have so much talent and the potential to go to the super bowl, but they need to step it up and play some football if they have plans of making it to the super bowl.
