Rein Long In Critical Condition After Accident

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Rein Long is currently in a critical condition after he was involved in a single car accident on the I-40 near downtown on Monday Night.

Long has been with the Titans since we drafted him in the fourth round in 2003 and has had an injury plagued career and sat out last season due to Achilies problems suffered in training camp.

a few memebers of the Titans organisation have been to visit Rein in hospital and im sure everyone will be thinking about him and his family in this tough time.

i have always though he is a great player and would do well on the line alongside Big Al and the Energizer Bunny, but he and his family will be in prayers and i hope he will be returning to the field

Re: Rein Long In Critical Condition After Accident

reading into the story some more, i found that we apparently relesed Long in September after he suffered his injury now not to say the team will bring him back but Givens is with the team for 2 seasons and spends all of that time OFF the field, why not get rid of him?

Great news. Here's hoping he can make a full recovery.
