Mike Heimerdinger returns to Titans

unconfirmed reports have stated that with Norm Chow heading to Hawaii to become the Offensive Coordinator there, ex-Titans Offensive Coordinator Mike Heimerdinger will come back to Tennessee and take back the position he once occupied after spending the last 3 years in Denver.

Heimerdinger, who was a key person behind Steve McNair's success at the franchise, even helping him to win the co-MVP award, is said to return to Tennessee where he will once again join forces with Jeff Fisher and begin coaching a slightly younger Steve McNair...Mr Vincent Young.

so is this a good move or a bad move to bring back Mike Heimerdinger?

also, am i the only thinking that the Titans and Bronco's might as well make their teams close relationship official?

Re: Mike Heimerdinger returns to Titans

Could someone tell me why Heimerdinger left in the first place? Was it just because he wanted advance in his coaching career or did he have a falling out with someone in the Titans organization? It didnt happen that long ago but i just cant remember

If he can do for Young what he did for McNair, watch out for the Titans next season. Could give Indy a good run for the division title.

as much as i would like to agree with you on that i would have to say im only 95% on board becuase our problem last season wasnt so much with Vince but it was more that we had no other offensive weapons besides a good line and a power back...

i think we need a good new reciever and a speed back becuase we are set for TE's and O-Lineman

we will have better recievers next year, how do i know that? well simply because it cant get any worst.and im very happy with what white has done for us and if there ever comes a situation where we need a speed back than we are just fine by putting chris henry out there.

Re: Mike Heimerdinger returns to Titans

Its official, 'Dinger' is back with the Titans

Tennessee Titans News

so with him running the offense and the defense having a break out season this season, could we be pushing for more than 2nd in the division and a wild card place?

well from what i understand 'Ocho Cinco' WANTS to be traded somewhere else but that doesnt mean he will, there was a deal supposed to be going down concerning him and Javon Walker...are you thinking you would like to see him come to us? becuase i dont think Coach Fisher would like to have the 'off-field Johnson' on the team, but im sure he would love to have the 'on-the-field Jonhson in Tennessee

Re: Mike Heimerdinger returns to Titans

I dont think johnson has really ever been in "pac" like trouble off the field, he is just a loud mouth reciever that needs to be in the spotlight at all times.

yeah i know, i mean im not comparing the 2 players becuase they are both in fields of their own...but im not sure if Coach Fisher would like the kind of loud mouth, "look at me" sort of player Johnson is

he hasnt bean to much of a loud mouch this year he was more of a quiet guy this time and coming into a team to where he isnt around talented and experienced recievers and to where he might be put into a situation to where he has to become one of the more mature players of the team might just change him to be a marvin harison type player quiet but very talented.if moss can do it than so can ocho.
