| Titans @ Chargers The Tennessee Titans playoff bus has been cleaned down and rolled out of the garage after going into hiding for a few years as the Titans blow into San Diego for a hotly anticipated match up against LaDanian Tomlinsons San Diego Chargers. The Titans will be hoping to put behind them the loss the felt when the Chargers, controversially, beat the Titans at LP Field in over time, 23-17. the Titans excellent run defense managed to slow LT down for almost a half, holding him under 10 yards rushing. but lack of production from the offense and a tired defense, as well as a terrible call by the refs, led to the Chargers taking the game in over time and giving the titans a harder hill to climb to get to the playoffs. The Titans will be without 2 of their top recievers, Bo Scaife and Roydell Williams, but on the brighter side the titans excellent defense has no worries and Pro Bowl bound Albert Haynesworth is back to 100% in comparrison to the last game when he was just coming off an injury. we haven't got anything to lose in this game so what the hell, lets be cocky, i say a great game but the Titans unexpectidly take it 23-17, but not in the same manner as the last game

| Re: Titans @ Chargers i dunno i mean the issue with tomorrow is that Scaife and Williams are Vince's security blanket, if the run game isnt working then he knows he can go to them becuase most teams are learning to collapse the pocket around him making it harder for him to run. in terms of changing the game i think we have had so many unusual games in the last few years so, like with the Jags game last year, our defense could end up scoring our points or Rob Bironas could end up doing all of our scoring, i mean the one thing im happy about is that our defense is still at 100% becuase if we had problems on defense and offense than thats when our issues begin to develop |

| Re: Titans @ Chargers and they are dropping like flies on the offensive side of the ball. Benji Olson is out of the game against the Chargers meaning that we now have: Olson - OUT Scaife - OUT R.Williams - OUT Mawae - DOUBTFUL Young - GAME DAY Waterboy - QUESTIONABLE T Rac - QUESTIONABLE Third Cheerleader in the pyramid - DOUBTFUL Towelboy - PROBABLE |

| Re: Titans @ Chargers ok now all the injuries are finalised, lets have everyone's final scores in...im still going to go for a titans win but i think this will be a high scoring game so im going to go for 25-26 Titans. i think Gates will get a TD or 2 against us becuase we dont have any good enough DB's to cover him, unless Nick Harper is playing in which case we might have a chance. i think LT will get atleast ONE but i think we can shut him down more than he expects and i think we will give Rivers a harder day than he also expects. i think Gage will come up big, as will Moulds, Ealy and White. Vince will want to show everyone what he can do on the big stage and if Collins comes in *deep breath* i think he will do pretty damn well. so here we go gentlemen, the playoffs, there is no tomorrow for us if we lose today so get your Blue and White jerseys on becuase its almost game time baby...GO TITANS!!!! |

an for those of you thinking that 'smack talk' is all about the game in the NFL, i agree, but saying something like that to another players face when your still a kid in his third year out of college is just not acceptable |

| Re: Titans @ Chargers i just reviewed the draft Merriman came out of and i think he was damn lucky the Giants were so desperate to get Eli Manning becuase they gave the Chargers their 1st round pick for Manning, and the Chargers used that pick to get Merriman and judging by the other teams looking for linebackers in that draft he could have easily ended up in Carolina, Kansas City or Cincinnati...but he ended up in a team with a good offense and an average defense, so he should be lucky he is where he is |

| Re: Titans @ Chargers i was watching FSN PRO FOOTBALL last night and they interviewed kieth about the game and when he said merriman told him to have fun watching him in the playoffs from your couch made me think how much more kieth would want to beat these guys.so merriman blames our coach for hitting him with a ligal hit and than tells a great veteran linebacker something like that he must think he is better than everybody else.the chargers talk a bit to much and they will draw a few personal fouls there way today and like bulluck said "they talk as if they think there the patriats" in my opinion they are the same team as they were when the titans played them earlier and we dominated the game and they won due to a mis call by the reffs on 4th down.so the titans can win it this time regardless of injuries.GO TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
