Titans tight end Bo Scaife, the team's third-leading receiver, will miss the playoffs due to a lacerated liver suffered in last Sunday's victory at Indianapolis.
The injury wasn't discovered until Monday. It will not require surgery, but Scaife cannot have any physical contact for at least six weeks.The third-year pro had 46 receptions for 421 yards and one touchdown this season.

The Titans promoted tight end Jamie Petrowski from the practice squad to the active roster and signed tight end Leonard Stephens for the practice squad.

its a real shame we have lost Scaife, especially in the manner we have done, but i think that between Troupe and Hatrsock we should be ok, they probably wont be as good as Scaife and Vince probably wont look to them as much but i think we should do ok

Troupe and Hartsock will have to step it up because the titans are gonna need a consistant TE versus san diego

it stinks cause vince and bo are always on the same page..

scaife has been impressive this year..

it's a real shame that he has bean injured for the remaining season he has made some great catches.i do think troupe and hartsock come in and play there part very well.
