Running back LenDale White went over the 1,000 yard mark for the first time in his career. The second year back had 23 carries for 103 yards against the Jets. Not bad I say. I had my doubts after hearing of his weight issues but hes really suprised me this year. I say the Titans got the better of the two backs at USC..Reggie who??

It seems that way right now, and who would've thunk it? White's been dogged for injuries and being out of shape all throughout his young NFL career thus far, but at the end of the day, he actually had a pretty good year. Like you, I was definitely skeptical about the kid, but he's been a surprise.

I thought of the two he would be the better one. He was heavier and could take a bigger hit in my mind. I was skeptical when he showed up so out of shape, but he looks to have turned it around.

Draft day was the last time I thought he'd be much of anything in the NFL. Or maybe it was at the USC Pro Day, where he couldn't manage as many bench press reps as the punter. But he's showing that he can still be a quality running back, like he was with the Trojans. Still looks like he's a player who the coaches are going to have to constantly ride to keep in shape, though.

That is the quietest 1,000 yard gainer I have seen...I cut the man from my Fantasy team in one league...

Yeah I know...I think all it means is he gets about 67 yards a game...still the Titans were rotating backs for a while...and I thought 1,250 was the new 1,000...

Eh, maybe it is. Seems to me a guy should be able to average just under 100 yards/game to be worth recognition though.

lendale has shared caries with brown and henry and he managed to rush for a 1,000 yards in his first time starting and dont forget know one really gave the guy a chance everyone kept saying in the offseason he wasnt the answer but yet he leads the titans to the 4th ranked rush offense.

Yeah, he always seem like a first rounder for me, and a steal for the Titans with their 2nd pick in 2006, but they say he had a bad work ethics and he did get off to a sluggish start...good to see him get it together.

what impresses me most is hes a hard runner, hes not all speed but breaks through tackles and pushes himself past defenders, kinda eddie george-esk..

exactly right who else do you see run up the middle and rush for a 1,000 yards probably not many.

i'll admit over the past few season i havnt been LenDales biggest fan what with all his issues and his weight problem and the fact that i prefer a speed runner to a pound for pound runner, but i think he has come along nicely and it seems that all he needed was time to develop and a good O Line infront of him to do that, im glad for him becuase he was always in Reggie Bush's shadow at USC and he dropped out of the first round in the draft and we took a chance on him and he had to sit behind a 1,000 rusher and probably never expected to get even 500 yards in a season, but he came through and made people see that he isnt just an over weight, big headed guy...he is an NFL worthy runner

he is one of the best runningbacks right now and i dont care what anybody tells me im going to keep believing he is a good runningback and dont forget guys we have a guy that looks to have potiential to be a good running back as well in chris henry.

ha ha, i think LenDale is a good running back but i am a fan of 'consistency' and if he can come back and keep playing like he has been next year than ill consider him one of the best, but not just yet. and yeah Henry has the potential to be very good, he went into the draft quietly but came out with a lot of hype and showed in the games he played that he can do well
