| Titans Follow Strict Diets Year Round For Gameday Shape Titans players must keep themselves in tip-top shape in order to perform as professional athletes. Along with rigorous exercise, one other thing comes into play when sculpting their physique: food. So what exactly do Titans players put in their bodies in order to successfully compete in the NFL? Titans full-back Casey Cramer had a little bit of help when it came to deciding his diet plan. ''Every off-season I go to a nutritionist,'' Cramer said. ''What I have to do is log three days worth of meals and then [the nutritionist] goes and breaks everything down and tells me how much fat, carbs, and proteins I’m getting. [Then the nutritionist] helps me map out what I should be getting and when.'' ''[It’s] $408 per pound, per day that we’re fined [if we’re not at our target weight],'' Cramer said. ''I have a five pound window.'' Though some Titans might have to frequently reach for their wallets to pay the hefty fines, Bulluck said he isn’t one of them. ''I’m not one of those guys who runs into trouble and gets fined for being overweight,'' Bulluck said. In addition to maintaining his target weight, Bulluck is also able to snack on foods other Titans might not be able to. ''I eat a lot of junk food, too; I’m skinny,'' Bulluck said. ''I've got more leeway [because I have a] faster metabolism than some of the bigger guys.'' Titans Radio: Titans Follow Strict Diets Year Round For Gameday Shape |
