the titans will be, some what, unwantingly welcoming the San Diego Chargers this week. having to win their remaining games and hoping the Chargers, Jags and Browns drop a game or 2 in order to still make it to the playoffs, this could make or break the rest of the titans season.

coming into the game both teams are at 7-5 and sitting just outside a wild card place in the AFC. the titans are coming off a 28-20 win against Texans in Texas and the Chargers are coming off a 24-10 victory over the struggeling Chiefs.

both teams have key weapons on their offense and defense and we will see one of the best games of the year this sunday as we see the following match ups:
Vince Young vs Phillip Rivers
LT vs LDW
Keith Bulluck vs Shawn Merriman
Antonio Gates vs Bo Scaife

the titans have had little problem stopping the run game this season and might be able to slow down former MVP LT.

the titans are calling for the fans to make as much noise as possible on sunday as the home field advantage may play a HUGE advantage and a pivitol weapon for the titans.

go titans.if the titans beat the chargers we have just the chiefs,jets who are very winable games if we show up and play them as if they were the colts and last but definately not least we play the colts and they will be playing with out a couple of there key players hopefully,and if they do play with out there key players we have a good chance at winning.so with all that being said we could be 11-5 and might make th playoffs.(ITS SO NICE TO SAY THOSE WORDS)

i love your optimism titans#1 and i dont expect us to blow the Chargers out of the water, but at the same time i think we could beat them. people will see 11-5 as unrealistic, but we are a suprising team and i think we are capable of doing it so LETS GO TITANS!!!

the titans playing pretty well so far.

half time, the titans lead 3-0 and even though the score does not show this, it has been a very good game. both defenses have played incredibly well and the titans run defense...i mean wow! they have managed to hold LT to basically no yards and LT has had 6 runs that have gone for 0 yards or negative yards which i think is incredible and a real testiment to how the defense has been playing this year

offensively, both teams are doing 'ok'. Vince has been a bit shaky to start with but got into his rhythm well and the running isnt bad but could be better. the chargers offense is pretty bad to say the least with ex-Titan Billy Volek showing why he is only a backup.

all in all, a good game to watch and hopefully we can get a W and move on

just for those of you who wanna no, more helmets came off during this first half, than points scored only 3 points were scored (should have been 6 but Rob Bironas uncharacteristically pulled a 29 yards field goal wide) and i counted atleast 7 helmets coming off at some point during the first half of play
