now im a big fan of the titans, obviously, but i feel as a fan you should also be able to find both the good and the bad in your team, we all know the good but ive been thinking recently about the bad which is what i believe, is stopping us from making it to the Super Bowll and here they are:

1. The Middle Lineback position:...we havnt had a decent middle linebacker for years and i think in the draft we should be looking to pick one up becuase we have two very good outside linebackers, a good interior defensive line, but no good middle linebacker and i think that is evident when the team rotates 2 linebackers in the game.

2. Special Teams coverage:...now i dont know the difference between this year and last year but it seems to me that the special teams coverage unit on both the recieving and kicking side of the ball has got worse this season. i mean Pacman managed a few run backs last season and we let up barely any return yards, and yet this season the team cant seem to slow down the returners let alone help our own guys out returning the ball and thats even more frustrating when you have a good Punter like Craig Hentrich.

3. The Hurry Up Offense (defense):...this has been an issue that frustrates the hell out of me. it seems like 50% of the time we stop the hurry up offense easily, but there are times when a team is running a 2 minutes drill or something and we cannot seem to stop them, why is that!!

4. Dropped Passes:...these are NFL recievers and they get paid to do 3 things, RUN, BLOCK and most importantly CATCH THE EGG SHAPED BALL THAT IS THROWN TOWARDS YOU! we have had to many dropped passes this season and its not down to Vince becuase he has been throwing very well, its down to our recievers

5. Inconsistant Running Game:...i wont say the running game has done badly this year but i think we can do a lot better, i think we are making do with the running game we have at the moment but it can be a lot better. we also need a speedy back becuase we cannot keep trying to run down defenses with a power back, LenDale White is NOT Jerome Bettis!

6. Decent Back Ups:...i do not feel comfortable with some of the backups we have on the team, such as Eugene Amano at right guard, yesterday he gave up back to back penalties just a play apart. other positions are most of the O line and Linebackers. we have very good starters, but if one of them got injured we may be in a whole heap of trouble.

7. Wide Recievers:...we have some 'good' recievers but i think we can get some better ones to maybe add to the pack. Gage, Jones, Moulds and R.Williams are good but i think we need to fill the reciever core with some more consistant players as i dont believe the rest are that good.

8. Decent Return Man:...becuase we have none, i never see a guy lining up to return the ball and think "he could take this back" which is why i wouldnt mind bringing back Pacman Jones to be a simple returner

The Titans are one of those teams that just need to hang around because Young has that special quality. He can take a team from behind and win any game.

i agree that Vince has special qualities, but i think its hard to get on his back and hope he can win a game for us when we have so many inconsistent players around him like our recievers who drop to many balls

You have your quarterback now, so it will take a little time to get things built up around him.
It isnt going to be this year anymore.

I just looked at your schedule, SD is quite possible, depending on which SD team shows up. The middle two are very winnable for your team, and the last is the Colts which is highly unlikely. So maybe you make the playoffs, but unfortunately you will choke pretty quick. I still think next year looks a lot brighter for your team than the immediate future.

when i got into football as a kid i was searching for a team to follow and rather than be a glory hound and go for someone everyone expected i went for a team with a good reputation, good team spirit and who were good but maybe not the best and ive followed the titans, heart and soul since then

SD is a winnable game becuase we have become a lot better at plugging the run game and i think we could even stop someone as good as LT with the way our run defense has been playing. the middle games should be wins but i think we could take the Colts game becuase they will have won the division by then, wont be able to catch the Pats for home field advantage and unlike the pats will more than likely rest their starters in that game, also we only lost by 2 i believe earlier in the season, so its doable.
in terms of if we get to the playoffs i think we could go far, i think if we get their the world is our oyster so why not ha ha
but everyone says "next year" for the titans, they even said that last year, i think this year we can do it just as well as we might be able to next year

once they came to tennessee I became a fan, even though when they started out they were terrible, but not dolphins terrible..

yeah definatly, i mean when i was scouting for teams the major 'fans bases' were for the Packers and the Dolphins and the Raiders becuase of the name they brought rather than the way they played football...good thing i didnt pick any of them

then in 2000 when they had the music city miracle, thats the single greatest play ever, then I watched the superbowl when I was at work at Krogers..haha
