after watching the Jags game last night, and eventually calming down...the question i put forward is that, are the Titans actually a bad team that has luckily won a few games and thus are at 6-3 now OR are the teams that we have lost to actually been better than us? because i look at the Jags and think that we are a better team than them, the same as with the Bucs, yet we lost to them.

i ask this becuase i look at how we played last season and, arguably, we weren't a bad team but we won games, most by small margines but a win is a win. then i look at this season and though some of the games were won by 3 points or less are we just as good/bad...or are the teams we are loosing to or narrowly winning against just slightly worse than us?

to put it simply...are we a bad team or are we playing teams who are worse?

your not going to beat a team just because your better its who ever can make the plays when there needed we had the plays this week but we had 2 droped interseptions a touchdown pass called back and bo schaif droped a touchdown pass and our defensive line didnt help the matter by comitting stupid penalties by being offsides.and with the bucs if you remember we only allowed one big play the whole game and that was because nick harper never looked back for the ball and if he would have it would have bean an easy pick so one players mistake cost us the game in that one.and with our first loss of the season against the colts does anyone else remember the most luckiest fieldgoal the colts made when we barely blocked it and the ball had a lucky bounce after hitting the cross bar and bounced in and that field goal gave them 3 points and we only lost by 2 so what does that tell you?so all these losses have bean because of mistakes that can be easily fixed by time practice and execution and i beleive VY can do it when it comes to making a good throw when we need it so by the time the playoffs are here the titans should be well prepared to play anybody.GO TITANS

A mediocre team the Titans are. Vince Young is simply the new Micheal Vick (insert dog-fighting joke here) and Pac Man is a disgrace to humanity. Yes they have a good team but nothing to make them stand out.

well i dont agree with any of that what so ever firstly Vince is not the new Micheal Vick, is it just becuase he can run like a running back that people choose to compare him to Vick? secondly Pacman has made some majorly wrong decisions in the past but i wouldnt go as far as to say he is a disgrace to humanity especially as in all of his run in's with the law he is yet to have a single conviction against him

If being mediocre is having one of the best defenses and being 6-3, just 1 game behind 1st in the division, then more teams inthe NFL need to be mediocre my friend, and vince young is nothing like vick, vince has shown he can run and throw, plus vince doesnt kill his pets in his backyard..

You still have some fixing to do on the Titans, and you may or may not make the playoffs because of it. But they are a good team and going to get better. I like Jeff Fisher.
The only thing alike about Vince and Michael is they both can run. That's it.
Vince is a young quarterback who is still learning to adjust to the NFL. Sometimes he goes forward, sometimes backward in his learning. Its called a learning curve. He's learning to be the leader and doing a good job of it.
It didnt look like they were going to show up on Sunday, but they finally did.

How young is this team anyway, compared say to the Packers????

The Titans are a pretty good team who due to Vince Young, can win ANY game they play. In suicide pools, I NEVER take a team who is playing the Titans.

Young doesn't pass well enough yet for them to be a premiere team. Once Young improves his passing and I'm sure he will, look out, they will win a Super Bowl.

just wait till monday night so everyone can see how dangerous the titans are and the only thing the titans need to improve on is throwing the football and i was pretty impresed by VY and dont forget the td pass that was droped and the td pass that was called bach because of a penalty last week because if those wouldnt have happened look out we would have had a chance of being 7-2,2 games ahaed of the jags and tied with the colts for first in the division.that doesnt sound like a mediocer team to me mediocer to me.and if you look at the rest of the titans schedule the jags schedule and the rest of the colts schedule it looks to me the titans could very well win the division as a number 3 seed.
