Titans Young has history of bouncing back after bad games?

Titans QB Vince Young also has been pretty good about bouncing back from bad performances, recording wins after three of his worst games. Next up are the Buccaneers (3-2), who rank 12th overall in total defense, so he knows he has to put the Atlanta game behind him fast. "Myself and the offense, we have to get ready and get ourselves prepared to play and get ready for this next week,'' Young said. "I've got to get ready for Tampa Bay, a good team.'' Last October, after posting a 34.4 passer rating in a loss at Indianapolis, Young guided the 0-5 Titans to a win at Washington. In November, following a dismal performance in Philadelphia, he rallied the Titans from a 21-0 deficit to beat the Giants, posting a 107.9 rating in the process. In December, after going 8-of-15 passing for 85 yards against Jacksonville, he posted a career-best 127.7 rating in a win at Buffalo. -- Tennessean

Re: Titans Young has history of bouncing back after bad games?

i think its a little early for people to be suggesting that Vince has a history of bouncing back after bad games becuase for 1. his college career cant be compared to his NFL career because they are in different leagues and 2. he has only started about 20 NFL games, so you cant really look at his 'bounce-back-ability' based on those few games. you see someone like Peyton Manning, Brett Farve, Steve McNair...these guys have had longer careers that you can examine their abiility to bounce back after a bad game or 2, but Vince's is to hard to determine right now.

i think it was best explained when an interviewer asked Coach Fisher after the Falcons game..."has Vince set himself on such a high level that when he plays slightly worse than normal its more evident for everyone to see?"

well it never hurts when you have proof that vince can bounce back.at the same time people have gave VY big expectations to play well and since he had a bad game everyone thinks VY isnt good as people think.
