the titans are coming off their bye week with a 2-1 record and now have the rest of the season to look forward to with the first game back being against the, some what, crippled 1-3 Falcons, who have found it very hard to cope with the loss of Micheal Vick and not made the transition to bringing in Joey Harrington very well.

the titans players and well rested and all are assumed to be ready to play and with the Falcons having the wings pretty much clipped so far this season the titans should have no problem with them, especially as they are playing infront of an increasingly excitable home field crowd who can smell the scent of the playoffs looming in the air.

My prediction for this game?...the titans to end with atleast 3+ interceptions, holding the falcons run game to under 80 yards and after a slow start the titans get rolling and go on to win the game...

Tennessee leads in the 4th, 20-13, despite having turned the ball over 4 times.

Final 20-13, It wasnt an impressive win but it was a win.. Vince threw 3 int's but our Defense held the falcons off for the win...

so the titans didnt quiet storm to the 20-13 victory most expected...more like stopped and started and fell over a few times before getting there.

the titans held the Falcons to a pretty poor 115 yards passing yard between Harrington and Leftwich. the titans defense once again stay strong holding the rushers to only 101 yards between 5 players and.

the titans offense was pretty sounds. Vince Young got off to a good start and ended with 20/33 for 157 yards but unfortunatly could not throw a TD and instead had 3 picks. the rushers couldnt really get started and barely crept over 100 yards between 4 rushers.

all in all it wasnt the best of games but the titans got the win and now on to the next game

vince basically didnt turn up today vince, something seemed like it was playing on his mind becuase it was not the vince young we are used to seeing...but he did enough to win the game and we got the win so he can come back strong next week

Neither starting QB in that game had better than a 50 passer rating. Harrington got yanked for Leftwich.

Is anyone as upset as I am at the fact that the Titans played the POOREST I've seen all season??
True..Hats off to the defense hled the falcons to 198 yards Total. Which is extemely impressive when you look at how many turnovers we had. I Love Vince Y. One of my all time favortie players on the team. But He flat out stunk today. He just fell apart in the second half. And what's up with Lendale W. Losing a fumble in which he wasn't even hit THAT hard!! Goodness!! I think we were flat-footed, and not very focused on offense, and if we play this way in Tampa we WILL get our butts handed to us.
But i do think Jeff Fisher will get this team ready, one great thing about Jeff is he is always going to push his team to improve and he will not let his team come out and repeat the same mistakes they had today.
The team has a good bit of work to do this week if they want to go to 4-1 next week...

welcome to the site ten_titans2003...to be honest its one of those situations where had we lost the game i would have been pretty darn angry but we managed to grind out a win and at the end of the day if we got the W thats all that i care about from yesterdays game.
in terms of the offensive play im with you on that one becuase i dont really know who turned up yesterday, seemed as though the guys were still in bed or Vince let after the first quater. im still not sold on LenDale White, he is showing signs of why he slipped into the second round and teams didnt want to pick him up and to be honest if he keeps putting in performances like he did yesterday he wont be with the team for very long
but yeah we definatly need a lot of work to do and i suppose having such an overall bad offensive performance it might be more obvious to coach fisher and the staff as to what to work on as opposed to a few little problems here and there.
but now onto the Bucs which should be a very interesting game
