Young To Be Featured On 60 Minutes

Titans quarterback Vince Young is scheduled to be featured on the CBS news magazine 60 Minutes this Sunday.
The show is scheduled to air at 6 p.m.

Some excerpts provided by CBS News:
--Young admitted he was angry about not winning the Heisman Trophy in his final season at the University of Texas. The award went to Southern Cal running back Reggie Bush, now with the New Orleans Saints. ''I was angry about that situation, not bringing [the Heisman] back,” Young said. ''And I wanted to show the world that I was the real Heisman Trophy winner. But on paper, Reggie Bush is the Heisman Trophy winner. I [am] not taking nothing from him, he knows he's a phenomenal athlete. … I always feel like I'm better. Always.''
--Young said he was upset last year when the Titans traveled to Philadelphia without him. Young was late to the team's charter flight and ended up flying to Philadelphia later that night on a private plane. ''I was just so mad,'' Young said. ''I was to the point that I didn't want to play.''
The interview was taped in June.

I agree with Vince in that he should've won the Heisman Trophy, but he needs to put that behind him and not let it bother him. But I'm looking forward to seeing him on 60 minutes, it should be pretty interesting.

15 years from now he'll be remembered more for what he did while playing in the NFL instead of winning the Heisman. If he's good enough his bank roll will answer all the questions about not winning it.

yeah i totally agree, it only takes a few years after the Heisman is won before it becomes just another title "...former Heisman trophey winner *insert name* did this, this and this..."
at the time its a big deal but LSC is right, in the future people will rememeber the NFL player and not so much the trophey winner
