for the life of me, I just can't seem to figure out why people keep saying that Vince Young has a poor passing game. Where is this coming from? I've seen beautiful pass after beautiful pass from this guy, and yet I don't hear the mouths of critics closing.

i know what your saying becuase even coming out of the draft everyone was commenting on the fact that Vince was an incredible player but a bad passer. i think that has a lot to do with the fact he was in the same class, and constantly being compared to, Matt Leinart.
i think its becuase, being the kind of scrambelling QB he is it looks slightly 'ugly' when he throws the ball as he is moving...as opposed to someone like Jay Cutler or Matt Leinart or even Peyton Manning who will sit in the pocket and seem to throw with such ease.
but in saying all of that i would take one vince young over 10 matt leinarts any day becuase the kind of stuff Vince can do is just mind incredible...

I think Young also needs an upgrade on receivers...some of these other guys have Pro Bowl caliber receivers.

I don't think VY is a poor passer on the whole, but i have noticed a few wide open ones a little high or in the dirt the past few weeks. Its just the start of the season, he'll get the bugs worked out.

vince is a good passer but he dosnt throw deep thats why his numbers isnt as high as peyton's who throws deep just about every play.

i watched the game and he proved to everyone he can do more than run.
