Titans @ Jacksonville

well the time is almost upon us, the beginning of one of the most anticipated seasons in recent years for the Titans.

we have one of the best Quaterbacks in the league running our offense and possibly one of the best QB's to put on a titans jersey since his 'Pop' did so many years ago. a youthful and relatively un experienced reciever core with a lot to prove. two very good and underrated tight end's as well as one of the most protective offensive line in the league with its mix of youth and experience.
on the other side of the ball we have an ever improving defensive line and a linebacker unit that can rival that of any other team in the NFL and a new vamped defensive backfield, filled once again with youth and experience...the season kicks off here and its going to be a hell of a ride.

first up...the Jags

Re: Titans @ Jacksonville

The way they're fooling around with their quarterback, I dont think the Jags know if they are coming or going.
I pick the Titans.

Re: Titans @ Jacksonville

im not to concerned about Jones-Drew becuase i think its evident from our pre-season games that in terms of pass rushing and run stopping, we are up there with the best of them, so we should do well...

the only thing im concerned about is that, if i rememeber correctly, in the last game we played against the Jags our defense had more yards and scored more TD's than the offense did

ooooooook, your entitled to your opinion i guess...i mean its totally incorrect but its an opinion none the less...for one i dont think this is a bad divison, since we have the Super Bowl champs and a team that has dominated the game as long as the Pats have i would say, the Jags who are a team that in the past showed real playoff potential and the Titans who are a young team headed by one of the most promising QB's in the league, if you wanna go for bad divisions i would look at the NFC south and west, which contains teams that SHOULD be doing something but rarely ever do it

Paul Williams Eric Moulds and David Givens are less then Middle Class and they 3 overweight and out shape backs Vince Young is the most exciting QB in the game but is a very bad team

Williams is a first year reciever and how can you judge someone who hasnt even played a proper pro game yet? Colsten was taken in th 7th round and turned out to be one of the best recievers in the league...Givens is useless i dont doubt that but what about Gage and Jones??
White and Brown are not over weight so i dont know where you are getting this information from and as for the defense we have one that can go up against any in the league

Re: Titans @ Jacksonville

white and brown are not over weight!! white was over weight before the start of traning camp but in order to compete for the starting position he had to drop to his recommended weight, which he did. and in the entire time Brown has been a titan he has never been over weight let alone come into a season being over weight

Re: Titans @ Jacksonville

Henry wont see much action this year unless Brown or White is injured because we are playing a tandem running back offense...so it doesnt matter about Henry

Re: Titans @ Jacksonville

yeah he has been named as the 'designated' starter meaning for all the stats geeks he will be the starter, but coach fisher has made it clear that he will run both running backs on and off
