Vince Young was pounded by an aggressive Patriots defense one week after being punished by his coach. The strong scrambler was sacked four times in the Tennessee Titans' 27-24 win over New England on Friday night. Coach Jeff Fisher had benched him for their exhibition opener for spending the night before the game at home instead of the team hotel.

how do you like them apples?...just kidding, an 'ok' performance from the Titans, very pleased to see that our D line are turning into an incredible set of pass rushers

what were everyone else's thoughts on the game?

4 interceptions, 2 of them by griffin our #1 draft pick, vince had some rust but also took a couple of scary hits, defense looked great but o-line not so much..

yeah im impressed with Griffin and once again someone ive backed from the start...CORTELAND FINNEGAN came up with the goods when he was needed...maybe we dont need Pacman back so badly after all

should we be worried about Vince's performance or is it to soon to start raising the white flag? good to see that we have some dependable recievers...and what was that run by Bo Scaife about...i was like "WHERE THE HECK DOES A TIGHT END HAVE THE SPEED HE DOES!!"

yea finnegans 51 yarder was clutch, vince got sacked 4 times, you think this will be a problem during the season?

I just think it was rust, but im worried about the sacks, 1 of them he was blind sided and hit hard..

nah, by the time the season comes around i think he will be ready, like you said he was a bit rusty, its the first competitive game he has played since the end of last year...nah im not to worried about Vince this year...and like i said there seems like there are more throwing options for him to use than previously assumed, so he wont be having to do it all on his own...and we obviously cant forget that we were playing against the Pats defense so it probably wasnt the best time for him to play his first few snaps of the new season

did you guys watch the game ? ........ i basically gave a play by play of the 1st half in the Pats forum

the field was real slick due to rain in the 1st half, i blame that for 1 of VY sacks and 1 of Brady's int's

as for the Titans ....... the 1st half is all i really paid attention to or give any merit to as most starters were on the field (keep in mind Moss and Maroney didnt play at all so the Pats should have been a little better)

the Titans for sure need O-line help, VY was running for his life a lot ...... the Scaife catch was a broken coverage so i wouldnt put a whole lot into that as it wont happen a lot

i think the 1st half score told a lot ....... 17-7 with the starters on the field ....... and the 7 the Titans got was only on the int return when the Pats WR fell down, so again i wouldnt count on that a lot
