| Titans will follow roster cuts The Titans remain interested in additions at receiver and defensive end, although some players they covet aren't available right now — they're on other rosters. General Manager Mike Reinfeldt said the Titans are identifying the players who might become available in the coming weeks. The Patriots, for example, have plenty of receivers after acquiring Wes Welker, Kelley Washington, Donte' Stallworth and Randy Moss. If all those players stick, some who made the roster a year ago might not. "Our pro personnel department is being proactive, trying to figure out which teams have excess talent at certain positions and trying to figure out what players might become available,'' Reinfeldt said. "I think we need to try and get better every day.'' The Titans also remain interested in former Buccaneers defensive end Simeon Rice, who reportedly visited the Giants on Wednesday. Injuries: Receiver Brandon Jones left practice with a hamstring problem and receiver Joel Filani didn't return after Donnie Nickey clobbered him. Running back LenDale White participated only in non-contact action because of what Coach Jeff Fisher called a "very sore" shoulder. Guard Benji Olson visited a specialist for a further evaluation of his back. Antonio Johnson sprained a knee, which further thinned a defensive line already without Rien Long (rest), Travis LaBoy and Jesse Mahelona (both with tight hamstrings) and Albert Haynesworth (back). Ends Sean Conover, Josh Savage and Ulrich Winkler filled in for the three missing tackles. Rookie interior offensive lineman Leroy Harris remained out with the flu.
