ok after reading this 'article' from a 'professional' journalist im suprised the team made it off the bus and on to the practice field without falling over and dying by how bad this guy is making us out to be.

i mean he starts off with how we have NOTHING good thats happened in the offseason, ok we had some bad loses, some 'ok' pickups and some good draft picks but with the way this guy is writing about us its like we are the worst team in the NFL. and when asked what concerns him..."almost everything" I MEAN COME ON!

is our team really this bad?

Well, as I'm not a Titans fan, I feel I can speak objectively. Your running game is going to be pathetic. There is no real workhorse on the roster, and the faith they're putting in LenDale White is just staggering, since he's proven absolutely nothing as an NFL back. On the other hand, the defense isn't in as bad a shape as Carucci makes it sound. I quite like Harper as a replacement for Jones in the secondary.

you say the running game is pathetic but the team isnt depending on LenDale White, i mean they have made it clear he has not been assured the starting spot and even said that there is a chance Chris Henry could be starting ahead of him so i dont think our run game is as bad as people make out, we do lack a third down back however, we have 3 runners (2 that can run it up the gut in White and Brown and 1 that can bounce it out in Henry) so we will be worse than last year no doubt but i wouldnt go as extreme as to say we will be pathetic especially if you throw vince young into the picture

The fact that Vince Young had more rushing yards then reggie bush makes me believe our running game will be o.k, but i am dissapointed in our offseason moves, Vince has lost some key players but that just means others will have to step up if we plan on being better than 8-8..only time will tell if e take a step foward or backwards because of it..I just hope VY doesnt get hurt..However, I do think our defense has inproved and if haynesworth doesnt stomp on anyones head, we will be in good shape..

i think the one thing people forget about our offense is that in all the games Vince played he didnt lock on to one reciever like someone liek Vick does, he spread the ball out to atleast 7+ recievers each game, so why cant he do that this season, i mean we never got MAJOR yards in the air all we ask is for these guys to run a route and get the yards, something any NFL reciever could do. and we have 3 very good TE's not to mention 3 RB's that are more than capable of catching the ball out of the backfield

the titans will do just fine this year i think they will do even better than they did last year.i dont know how anyone could say our running game is pathetic when we have two rb's that no one has ever seen start in a game before.there is no reason for us to stress over our wr position just because we lost d.bennett,realisticly he wasnt ever that good and he didnt really get the ball as much as a #1 wr should get.our defense has improved from last year.the loss of pacman isnt all bad we have two good cb's instaed of just one now.
