Did You Know? This marks the 11th time Pacman Jones has been mentioned in a police investigation since joining the Titans. He has been arrested five times, but has no convictions, though there are still two other open cases pending against him.

Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout

but the point im trying to put across is that he has been involved in police investigations 11 times but like it said there he has yet to have a conviction to his name...so how can he be seen as a criminal and all the rest...everyone is quick to jump and say "oh hes going against his word about turning over a new leaf etc etc.." but he is yet to be convicted of a crime he was SUPPOSIDLY involved in, if you get pulled over by the police 3 times for mistake identity does that make you a criminal and thus everytime you name is mentioned when a crime is involved that means you have done something wrong? no it doesnt because in all those times you never did anything wrong. Pac is yet to do something wrong but when he is name is mentioned by someone when he is close to a crime people are quick to say hes a bad guy even though he is yet to do something wrong.

I think its because of the image he projects. At the very least, he is skating pretty close to the edge of the cliff. Best to stay far away from that cliff as possible at this point in time. And dont forget the celebrity factor and the media. Time will give us more answers just like in another case.

Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout

so pac should lock himself in his house for the next 12 months except when he goes to church, right? gimme a break, it doesnt matter where pac goes, people want to pin b.s on him all the time. like alex has said, hes yet to be convicted of anything, the only thing he is guilty of is being associated with a rough group of friends. They need to stop wasting their time on pac and get the real criminals out there, the ones who kill dogs for money and bury them in their backyard..

Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout

THANK YOU! finally someone who understands what the heck ive been trying to say! the guys has a few bad apple friends, that doesnt make him a bad apple himself let alone a criminal. if you have friends who are criminals does that make you one? NO! but vince is right does everyone think he should live in a Saddam-Husein-like-hole for the next 12 months? no matter where he goes he is going to get caught up in trouble because there are people who want him to get in trouble just like the girl who accused him or spitting at her, just like the bodyguard who said he was the one involved in the shooting and yet neither one of them had any evidence to back it up, it was just their word.

and even if he did stay at home for 12 months im sure the mailman would claim he shouted abusive language to him through the window or the milkman would say he flipped him off when he was coming to deliver the milk.

where ever pac goes and whatever he does people looking to tie him up with scandle so it doesnt matter if he goes out to night clubs, strip clubs, Wal Mart, McDonalds, the gas station...anywhere, if people want to accuse him of something they will no matter where he is, people have to get off his back and let him do his own thing and when they find solid evidence to pin him down to having caused any crimes THEN start saying hes a criminal and all the rest, until them let him be

this is just a prefect example of people jumping to a conclusion about him, everyone assumed he was the main culprite in the vegas shooting and yet there has not been a single piece of evidence to support it, now the police want to TALK to Pac about this latest incident and automitically he has done something wrong beucase he was at a club, ease up on the guy and let him be charged if evidence proves he is guilty, dont get the handcuffs and chains ready becuase he was somewhere where there was violence
You are right. This is just jumping to conclusions about him, but he brought it on himself. I am not talking about staying away from clubs the rest of his life, but if he wants to get back into the NFL this season that is what he is going to have to do. He is a young guy. he wants to have fun, but it always seems to go too far when he is involved.

If I were the one on probation and I was told I had to walk a straight path, I would not even order a pizza on the off chance the delivery guy was trouble. He was given guidelines on how to get back into the NFL. This is not doing it.

He should also higher a good PR firm. They get paid to keep his name out of the media for things like this.

No, but he deserves the run of bad press he is getting...Vince, Vince, Vince, you of all people should know that...I mean you point it out every other Vick post...if he is going to pal around with thugs, he is going to get dirty...his rep is going to be dragged through the mud...and he is going to lose a career...hey, he is a big buy...he picked thugs for friends...he should like with whatever comes his way.

Like Vick or anyone else...after a while you say, "gee, yeah, bad break what your friends and relatives did...but take your freakin party elsewhere, we are paying you too much to give the Titans (Falcons) this much bad press."

Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout

NFL.com - Tennessee Titans Team News

well for all you Pacman haters, here you have it Pac is being charged for the most ridiculous crimes in the Vegas incident and ironically these come at the same time that he is being questioned over a shooting, leading me to believe the police force are only doing this so they can use a more recent event to give as an example.

but he is being charged for apparently threatening the guy that was shot and...this is the best bit...BITING SOMEONE ON THE ANKLE! COME ON! for one this is the first time ive heard this, i heard he apparently slammed some girls head into a table for picking up money and yet hes not getting charged for that he is however getting charged for biting someones ankle...this is just getting ridiculous now.

but interested how the article points out that in the 10 times he has been involved in criminal activities and the 5 times he has been arrested he is yet to have a conviction to his name, glad they point that out plain and simple

Biting ankles, now thats hardcore..

In all seriousness, looks like pac-man will no longer be a titan after this, if he got suspended for bad rep before, who knows what goodell will do to him with these two charges of felony coercion, and to add to it, fisher and the titans have moved on, bye pac, hope your stupidity was worth it..

Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout

Informed that Jones had been charged, Titans Coach Jeff Fisher said: "Again, as I said several days ago, these are his issues. We have moved on and we will continue to move on. … As far as I am concerned it’s no longer our business. Those are his issues and he has to deal with the commissioner’s rules and we have moved on. ... From a personal standpoint you wish him the best, but from a professional standpoint he certainly let us down so we have moved on. ... I don’t have any expectation to talk to him."

So the only good thing about this is dont we get roster compensation for him?

Arrest warrants were issued Wednesday for Jones, Robert "Big Rob" Reid of Carson, Calif., and Sadia Morrison of New York, an aide to Clark County District Attorney David Roger said.

Jones, 23, of Franklin, Tenn., faces two counts of felony coercion stemming from allegations he bit a bar bouncer on the ankle and threatened to kill club employees, according to a criminal complaint filed in Las Vegas Justice Court.

ESPN - Pacman to face felony charges in Vegas melee - NFL

im sorry alex but i dont find it ridiculous at all ..... he threatened to kill people and minutes later it seems someone from his posse came in and started shooting

seems they could have charged him with conspiracy to commit murder

Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout

yeah but how did anyone know if he actually threatened to kill this guy? could it not be the same incident as with the most recent event when he was SUPPOSIFLY involved in the shooting, even though police have repeatidly said he wasnt even there? is there not a chance that this is just another guy trying to get at Pacman? i mean they have no evidence to support the claim, i think the Vegas police just wanted to charge him with something and this was the easiest thing they could say, what about the charging him with apparently slamming a strippers head onto the table? everyone was certain he did that and yet the police dont look as if they are going to charge him for that even though that would be more conclusive
