| Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout I suppose the police want to talk to him because they want him to rat out his "friends" Sorry, but I have to pretty much go with GDK and Simon on this Alex. You are known by the company you keep. It seems I heard him say something to the effect once that it was time to maybe look for friends in different places. Its like with your kids. (when you have them) They get in trouble, they promise to turn over a new leaf. Then they are with the same bunch of kids, trouble happens again, they werent guilty this time except by association. We tell them you have to avoid those situations and those people if you really dont want to make the same mistakes again. When the kids or grandkids got in trouble, my husband sometimes blames their friends. But you cant blame friends for the mistakes your child makes. Pacman needs to decide whats important to him right now. It would appear that still hanging out in strip clubs with his "friends" is his biggest priority. You are right that there is always some risk anywhere. But GDK is even more right when he asks where is there more risk, "Sunday morning at church or 2 am at a strip joint" |

| Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout ok then, well what if one of us had friends who were involved in a shooting when we were at a nightclub with them...sure the police would want to interview us and ask us questions but does that make us criminals as well? should we be 'painted with the same brush as them'? i have friends who have commited crimes, some close friends have done petty stuff, other friends of the family have been inside for more serious offenses, so does that mean if the police stop me or question me about something they are going to say "oh so your a friend of Mr.X im definatly going to arrest you know or im going to approach this case differently?" now most of you are going to say well he is a pro football player that has been involved with the law before, but i highlight that word INVOLVED!..has Pacman been charged with any of the so called crimes he has commited? apparentyl spittting in a girls face? nope. the vegas shooting? nope. even this event? nope, they just wanna talk to him so if he friends are getting in trouble and he has not yet been charged with a crime does that mean we should still think he is a criminal

| Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout Should we think he's a criminal? Not necessarily. But look back at the Ray Lewis situation from a few years ago. After that shooting down in Atlanta (I believe), in which Lewis was implicated because he was running with some of the guys who did it, he realized he needed to take better care to pick his friends. Otherwise his name was always going to be associated with incidents like that and people would believe he was a thug, and yes, maybe a criminal and a murderer. Pacman, if he's serious about cleaning himself up, needs to stop running with this crowd or else those accusations, justified or not, will be attached to his name.

| Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout alex, no one said he was a criminal. They just want to talk to him. And gdk is right. Its not newsworthy. He's been in these situations, he's a celebrity, and the media is what it is. No matter what, he's still making poor choices and he needs to change that if he wants to change his image. I hope he does. He's a talented young player. Just seems to need to do a little character molding. And dont give up on him yet. No matter what the rest of them say, he could still turn the corner. |

| Re: Police want to talk to "Pacman" after shootout yes bette and im agreeing with that, im not going to say it because his already big head will explode but GDK is *deep breath* right. this is not newsworthy and yes your right all they want to do is talk to him. im just getting frustrated with all the people coming out with "oh well i guess hes not really turning his life around etc etc..." im just trying to point out he was in a situation where he didnt do anything wrong just like all the other situations and yet people are still saying he hasnt changed his life around...when realistically all the evidence shows he was never really in the wrong in the first place |

Good job. It gets easier after you do it the first time. Kind of like swallowing worms or raw egg. It kind of gags you at first. |

| I heard that he was at the Club, just not at the scene of the shooting....Listen, he shouldn't have been at the clubs at all.... It's just like a newly- recovered alcoholic who spends his nights in bars. Makes no sense. How about this? Stay home, watch some TV and go to sleep. |
