i've been always been Titan backer (the Cowboy's_regardless of the turmoil; will always be my main pro team), however we do not get many Titan televised games in this part of the country__West Texas.

Could not believe Houston did not draft VY.

I'm a Longhorn wearing 'burnt orange' glasses thus my sentiments toward VY will not jive with others.

ok__so here is the question for you long time die hard Titan fans:
...when the Titans drafted Vince, what caliber of player did you think you were getting on draft day.

to be honest mojo my first though when we drafted vince was and then that reduced to the reason behind it was becuase the team had seemed to be going for Matt Leinart (talking about him all the time, having private meetings in California, him having played with Norm Chow at USC) so i was concentrating most of my attention on him, all that was known from Vince was really what he did in the Rose Bowl (i think it was the rose bowl against USC) game.
even when he came into training camp i didnt think he was anything great, everyone was tlaking about him being the future of the team but we couldnt see it becuase he wasnt being played...and the rest is history as they say

...yep_that's exactly what i thought the strong TITAN fan base opinion would be when he was picked over Leinhart. And in particular, as you mentioned with Norm Chow on the staff.

I pee'd my pants when they drafted vince, all the talk was leinart which was who I didnt want drafted, I wanted vince young and we got him...Thus begins his legacy in Nashville..
